The massage therapist jumped in to explain that people of all ages can have arthritis and different health problems.
Liv brought up that she was only 25-years-old and had a connective tissue disorder that comes with many other complications, one of those being arthritis.
So remember that someone’s age does not exclude them from having health problems. Arthritis is not an “old person’s disease,” and it does not discriminate! Anyone can have arthritis.
Many TikTok users shared their own experiences with health issues and how they were ridiculed for having them just because of their youth.
“I’m 41 and have had RA/nerve damage for 20 years. The looks and scoffs I get,” commented one user.
“I always stress there are literal babies born with arthritis, and that always works, lol,” stated another.
“My brother was diagnosed with arthritis in his spine when he was 16!!! It can happen to anyone, any time,” chimed in a third.
