He Made A Remark About His Friend’s Girlfriend Being Gorgeous And Allowed His Pregnant Fiancée To Think He Was Cheating

According to this man, he and his fiancée, Jen, have been inseparable for the past six years. He really enjoys her company, so much so that he never really enjoys going out with Jen.
“She’s fun and makes my night way better by having her around,” he said.
“We are also very open with communication, and we aren’t blind, so we will 100% tell each other when we find someone else attractive.”
Apparently, it is extremely common for them to make remarks about other good-looking people. Just two months ago, for instance, Jen reportedly pointed out a handsome man and made a comment about the guy’s arms being able to “toss her around.”
They obviously never act on any of these statements, either. Instead, he claims that it’s all just “talk,” and sometimes, it actually just leads to more closeness in their own relationship.
However, Jen is currently 32 weeks pregnant and has been feeling increasingly insecure.
“I still think she’s beautiful no matter what,” he clarified.
“But telling her that makes no difference.”
He also believes that, recently, he really messed up after he made a remark about how he thinks his friend’s girlfriend is “gorgeous” and “has nice hips.”

Given how he and his fiancée normally talk to each other, he really didn’t think anything of it.
While Jen agreed with his statement about his friend’s girlfriend at first, though, things soon fell apart.
For context, he goes to his friend’s house very often, and his fiancée is always invited. However, since the baby is on Jen’s sciatic nerve, she has been declining the invitation because she feels uncomfortable. On top of that, Jen claims she just doesn’t want to be around other people since she feels gross.
“But she did go with me two days ago, and I guess I let my eyes wander a bit, and she noticed. I didn’t notice,” he revealed.
Afterward, Jen asked him to bring her home and was extremely quiet. Still, he kept pushing and eventually got her to open up.
His fiancée was upset because, first, he said that his friend’s girlfriend was gorgeous and had “nice hips.” Then, Jen claimed to have spotted him and the other woman making eyes at each other during the hangout.
Yet, he didn’t understand what his fiancée was talking about and asked her to clarify. It was at that point that Jen openly asked if he was hooking up with his friend’s girlfriend.
His fiancée pointed out how he was over at his friend’s house a lot, so the possibility was plausible. But he just called the accusation silly and reassured Jen that nothing was going on.
Then, he dropped his fiancée off at home, and she reportedly told him to “go have fun.” That’s why he went back to his friend’s house and didn’t return home until later that evening.
Upon arriving at his house, he noticed that his fiancée was still being distant. So, he asked her what was wrong again, and Jen was furious.
“You just left me here thinking you are cheating and went back to hang out with her with zero qualms,” his fiancée told him.
He didn’t understand why Jen was so upset, though, and pointed out how she had told him to go back to the hangout. He also claimed to have not realized that Jen was serious about her cheating concerns.
“As if you didn’t realize I was serious,” Jen responded before going to bed.
Anyway, things have since been extremely tense in his house, and he realizes that he may have acted incredibly stupid.
Nonetheless, he isn’t sure what to say to his fiancée now, and he’s been left wondering whether leaving his pregnant fiancée at home and allowing her to think that he was cheating made him a real jerk or not.
Do you agree that he seriously messed up? Even if it’s common to comment on other good-looking people, should he ever make remarks about people in his social circle– especially when his fiancée is weeks away from having their baby? How can he fix this situation?
