Because her sister ditched her and her son, she only had three options. She could have called child services, taken her nephew to his dad’s house, or canceled her move. So, she did the best thing she could think of to ensure her nephew and her family would be okay.
“I was fed up, so I contacted her husband and explained everything to him, and he decided to take his child,” she said. “I was so thankful.”
She finally heard from her sister the day she and her kids were heading to the airport to travel to America.
“My sister called and started shouting her lungs off about how selfish, wicked, and ungrateful I am,” she recalled.
Her sister told her she was rude to bring her son to his dad, knowing she and her him were separated. She ultimately decided to turn off her phone and ignore her sister’s outburst, but now, she can’t help but feel guilty.
Did she make the right decision by taking her nephew to live with his dad, or should she have waited for her sister?
