She Went On A First Date With A Guy Where She Was Forced To Pay For Everything, And While She Was, He Wandered Off To Talk To Other Girls

A 25-year-old woman from New York named Tinah (@tinahx) is describing a lousy first date she went on where she was forced to pay for everything, and while she was paying, her date wandered off to talk to other girls. Here’s how it happened.
One day, she went to a birthday party where she met a guy and really hit it off with him. He ended up asking her on a date to the museum.
Initially, he had wanted to meet up at six o’clock in the evening, but she informed him that she didn’t finish work until six.
Ten minutes before she was about to leave her apartment for their date, he told her that he wouldn’t be there until 6:30 or 6:45 at the latest.
That gave her time to watch some TV. However, she became so engrossed in the show that she lost track of time.
So, she had to call for a ride to meet up with him on time. She arrived at 6:50, but he still wasn’t there. He finally showed up at the museum at 7:15.
When he got there, he started complaining about how they didn’t need to buy tickets because his family had a lot of money, which was not a topic that Tinah was interested in.
And because they had gotten there so late, they were only able to have one drink before the bar stopped serving cocktails.
They decided to leave and go to another bar. He suggested that they head to a place in the Lower East Side even though they were all the way in the Upper East Side.

Much to Tinah’s disappointment, they took the subway to get there. But once they reached the second bar, they were having a really good time and even made friends with two guys.
At one point, the guys offered to pay for their drinks, but Tinah’s date had already closed out their tab. When he received the bill, he just stared at it while Tinah sat awkwardly next to him. Finally, she pulled out her credit card to pay for their drinks.
After she paid, she looked over and saw that her date was chatting with a group of girls. She was baffled, and one of the guys they had met at the bar was also flummoxed on her behalf.
They stayed for a little while longer until Tinah’s date asked if she wanted to go to a club. He told her that his friends, who he hadn’t seen in five years, would be there.
After an hour at the club, she realized that she didn’t have her phone. She let him know that she was ready to go home, so he closed out the tab and called a cab for her.
Once she got to her apartment, she reached for her card to pay the taxi driver, only to discover that it was missing as well. She had to pay for the cab fare with her laundry money.
Then, she contacted her brother through her laptop to ask him for help with tracking her phone. Her phone happened to be with a delivery person, so she went to pick it up.
Her credit card was still lost, though. And the next morning, she found out that she had somehow ended up paying for the drinks at the club, too. It’s safe to say that Tinah will no longer be going out with that guy, nor will she be going on a date at a club anytime soon.
