She Found Out Her Husband Cheated On His Ex-Fiancée And Abandoned Her With Their Sick Child, So Now She Can’t Look At Her Husband The Same
This 26-year-old woman and her husband, who’s 36, tied the knot five years ago, and their marriage has been wonderful.
So, after she recently found out about how he treated his ex-fiancée, she was completely shocked.
“He is a phenomenal husband and a great man, and all the time I’ve known him, I’ve never known about this situation or even thought he could do this,” she admitted.
“He’s always been so great to me. I never thought he could treat someone else so horribly.”
The truth finally tumbled out a couple of days ago when she and her sister-in-law met up for drinks. It was immediately clear that her sister-in-law wasn’t in a good mood, either, and after some prodding, her sister-in-law opened up about being annoyed at her husband.
She was confused, asked why, and learned it was because her husband had apparently “embarrassed” her sister-in-law in front of their parents. According to her, her in-laws are pretty affluent people and care a lot about appearance.
Anyway, her sister-in-law proceeded to launch into a list of complaints about her husband while she just sat there listening.
But then, something piqued her interest. Her sister-in-law said, “And anyway, why does that even matter when he did what he did to Anna before he met you!”
She’d actually never heard the name Anna before and asked her sister-in-law to explain. At first, her sister-in-law tried to take back the statement, too, but eventually, she got her sister-in-law to tell her the whole story.

It all began back when her husband and Anna met at 19 years old. He’s a doctor now, and Anna is currently an accountant, but at the time, they were both in undergraduate school.
They started dating not long afterward, and all of her in-laws really loved Anna. Her sister-in-law even believed that her husband and Anna would be together forever.
The couple remained in a relationship throughout all four years of college, and upon graduation, they got a place together. Next, her husband and Anna got engaged at 26 years old.
“Anna supported him through literally everything. The way that my sister-in-law was talking about this girl, she sounded like the kindest human alive,” she explained.
Yet, while her husband was completing his last year of residency, he actually cheated on Anna and left the poor girl heartbroken. He also proceeded to cancel their wedding and leave Anna, telling her to just keep the engagement ring.
Her sister-in-law made it sound like her husband had only been using Anna for the stability that she provided during his career. So, once her husband didn’t need his ex-fiancée anymore, he up and left her.
Still, the drama was far from over since, just a few weeks after her husband and Anna split up, Anna called her sister-in-law and shared she was pregnant.
Her in-laws were ultimately able to get her husband to talk to Anna, but he claimed he didn’t care about her or the pregnancy. Instead, her husband stated that he’d met someone new already.
“That someone was, of course, me. We were married within the year, and Anna had his baby all alone,” she revealed.
Her husband’s child was a baby girl who would now be 5 or 6 years old. But sadly, his daughter wound up getting diagnosed with childhood cancer and passed away.
Anna supposedly begged her husband for his support during this tragedy as well and simply wanted him to attend the funeral. However, he wouldn’t budge and reasoned that he “never knew” his daughter.
Now, this was all occurring the entire time she was with her husband, and she had no idea. The truth has left her feeling absolutely sick to her stomach.
“I went home and saw my husband and didn’t even know what to say. How he could treat Anna like that, I don’t know, but how could he treat a child like that? How could he leave Anna, cheat on her, but leave her all alone, too?” she asked.
“I’m heartbroken for this woman and that baby and so hurt that I’m married to someone who would do that.”
After the beans were spilled about her husband’s past relationship, though, her sister-in-law urged her not to let what happened change her opinion of her husband. On top of that, her sister-in-law doesn’t want her to tell her husband that she knows about Anna.
She’s having trouble grappling with that. It’s been a few days since she spoke to her sister-in-law, and she still hasn’t said anything to her husband about it, but it’s eating her alive.
“I know that my sister-in-law has been forbidden from telling me, so I do not want my husband to be mad at her or at me, but I don’t know what to do,” she vented.
“This honestly makes me hate my husband so, so much, and I don’t even know why. He’s still such an amazing man to me, but I can’t not think about it.”
That’s why she’s been left wondering if she should bring it up and whether feeling so differently about her husband now is justified or not.
