She Recently Moved To Georgia, Then Disappeared Along With Her Small Dog
31-year-old Karen Kristina Lee recently moved to Greenville, Georgia, which is about an hour south of Atlanta.
She used to live in Gulf Breeze, Florida, but she made the move to Georgia so she could be with her 2 children.
On January 15th, Karen was seen leaving her house located on Roosevelt Highway, along with her 4 pound golden-colored Maltipoo, Sophie.
Here’s everything you need to know about the disappearance of Karen and Sophie.

According to Karen’s family, it seems that Karen may have been last seen leaving her house not only with Sophie but also with an older African American man that has a greying beard or goatee.
He might have been wearing a grey shirt and drove to Karen’s house, but there is no available description of the car he was driving.
A post shared on a Facebook page created to help find Karen and Sophie reveals that Karen has a boyfriend who has fully cooperated with law enforcement in trying to find her. This post also explains that police officers have looked for her in the woods behind her home without any luck.
The Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that Karen “reportedly left in an unknown direction of travel with destination unknown. The last known communication with Karen Lee was by phone on January 18, 2021. Karen Lee was reported missing to the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office on January 26, 2021 and has been placed on G.C.I.C. as a Missing Person.”
34 minutes ago, Karen’s sister Taria shared on Facebook that she and Sophie could possibly be in California by now.

“We received news today that KK and Sophie were located by the San Diego, CA police department on 1/21/21 with two unknown people,” Taria’s post begins.
“Her mental state at the time was not well, but she insisted that she was okay and although, she was located alive on that date, the police have been unable to make contact with her again.”
“We still have a lot of unknowns. We do not know how she got there, the people that she is with, or truly if she is ok. We are seeking out advice and resources in the San Diego community for our next steps in helping her and making sure that she is truly safe. I thank you all so very much for the outpouring of love and support during this very difficult time.”
“The money raised for the reward will hopefully be used to help her with resources in getting well, if not, it will be donated to her children and the organizations that have helped us along.”
“Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart. I AM NOT GOING TO EVER GIVE UP ON HER. I am happy to answer questions at a later date, we all need some time to process things and to rest our minds and hearts.”
