Justin Bieber Actually Had One Of The Best Things To Say After Simone Biles Exited The Olympics Due To Her Mental Health
Spring, Texas. 24-year-old Simone Biles lives in Spring, Texas, and that’s where she trains as well, at the World Champions Centre.
Simone already has 4 Olympic gold medals, and we already know she’s the greatest gymnast to ever grace this planet.
Although everyone was hoping she’d gather up a few more gold medals in Tokyo, she recently announced that she felt the need to exit the Olympics.
Simone cited putting mental health first and foremost as her reason for not continuing with the Olympics.
“I just felt like it would be a little bit better to take a back seat, work on my mindfulness,” she explained at a press conference.
“And I knew that the girls would do an absolutely great job. And I didn’t want to risk the team a medal for kind of my screwups, because they’ve worked way too hard for that.”

Simone mentioned that she did not suffer any injuries during the competition, and that also contributed to her decision.
“And that’s why I took a step back because I didn’t want to do something silly out there and get injured.”

Simone then noted that the Olympics in Tokyo is far different than any of the ones that happened before, especially since there is no crowd.
“After further medical evaluation, Simone Biles has withdrawn from the final individual all-around competition,” USA Gymnastics, the national governing body for U.S. gymnastics, said in a statement.
“We wholeheartedly support Simone’s decision and applaud her bravery in prioritizing her well-being. Her courage shows, yet again, why she is a role model for so many.”

Although some people have not been so supportive of Simone’s decision, Justin Beiber isn’t one of them…
…He actually had one of the best things to say following the news of her exiting the Olympics.
“Nobody will ever understand the pressures you face! I know we don’t know each other but I’m so proud of the decision to withdraw,” Justin wrote in an Instagram post.
“It’s as simple as what does it mean to gain the whole world but forfeit your soul. Sometimes our no’s are more powerful than our yes’s.”
“When what you normally love starts to steal your joy it’s important we take a step back to evaluate why.”
“People thought I was crazy for not finishing the purpose tour but it was the best thing I could have done for my mental health!! So proud of you @simonebiles.”
