“In addition to having her leg amputated, Ev also had her left arm (just below the elbow) amputated and a humerus fracture,” Everlee’s mom Samantha Alumbaugh shared in an update on October 14th.
“She has had so many surgeries to clean up her wounds as they were so infected (which was to be expected).”
“Today, she had her skin grafts done on her abdomen and her right thigh. If the skin grafts take, we will be able to go to an out-of-state, in-patient rehab facility!”
Although Everlee is on the road to recovery, her parents will need to pay for her rehab, her prosthetics, and more.
