This May She Got Up Close And Personal With A Grizzly Bear And Now She’s Paying The Price For It

According to authorities, Samantha “pleaded guilty to willfully remaining, approaching, and photographing wildlife within 100 yards.”

She was also initially charged with another count of feeding, touching, teasing, frightening, or intentionally disturbing wildlife, but that charge was dismissed.

Samantha was sentenced to serve 4 days behind bars. She will also be required to do 1 year of probation and is currently banned for a whole year from stepping foot in Yellowstone.

That’s not all though; Samantha will have to pay $1,000 for a fine, $1,000 to Yellowstone’s Forever Wildlife Protection Fund as part of community service, $30 for a court processing fee, and $10 for an assessment.
