“Some other bridesmaids chime in and say that it would be her “something borrowed.”
“I tried as politely as I could to tell her that my fiancé got this for me to wear to the wedding and especially since he can’t be here, I’d like to keep it on.”
Not only did Mary try to pressure her into taking off her necklace and letter her wear it right then and there, but the rest of Mary’s bridesmaids did too.
Everyone tried to guilt her into doing it since it was Mary’s big day, but that didn’t make her want to do it.
“Mary then said if I could at least take it off since it looked nicer than her own jewelry,” she continued.
“Again, I told her I’d rather not, I’d like to share the wedding photos of myself in the necklace with my fiancé.”
Well, Mary was basically pissed at her, along with the rest of the bridal party. Everyone was really rude to her; throwing her nasty looks and basically ignoring her throughout the entire wedding.
“I felt awful,” she wrote. “After the first dance, Mary’s sister came up to me to tell just how upset Mary was and rude it was that I upset her so on her big day.”
She’s left feeling like maybe she somehow did something wrong here, and she cannot stop thinking about Mary’s wedding.
Though she has tried to reach out to Mary, Mary has refused to answer a single text of hers.
