This Young Chef Was Biking Home After Closing Her Restaurant When She Was Hit By An SUV That Didn’t Even Stop

Kelsey is now looking at at least two months of physical therapy in order to make it back to Coquette and in order for her to return to the other things she loves doing.

“Kelsey’s number one means of transportation is cycling and she cares passionately about bike safety,” the GoFundMe for her continues.

“On Halloween Kelsey completed a half marathon, sparking her passion for long distance running, which she will return to when she is back on her feet. With her recent promotion to Executive Chef at Coquette, this injury comes at an exceptionally difficult time.

Kelsey now needs to come up with the money to pay for the multiple surgeries she needs, in addition to staying in the hospital, and going to physical therapy.

If you would like to donate to help Kelsey with her medical bills, you can do that here.
