He quickly went on his phone to pull up the order record before showing Savannah the set she was supposed to receive.
Throughout the whole ordeal, Savannah and her family are in fits of laughter. Savannah’s sister even began taking photos of her holding up the comical mishap.
Right before the video ends, you can also hear her boyfriend say, “Keep the box. We are returning it.” Yikes!
Savannah did poke fun at her boyfriend and wrote on TikTok, “He was quick to order the actual one…” But, her comments were all in good fun.
She explained that the pair had only been dating for seven months and that her gift had arrived wrapped in plastic. So, her boyfriend chose not to check the gift before giving it to her.
Regardless, the TikTok community found the video hilarious. It garnered nearly six million views and over six hundred thousand likes. The comment section is also a riot.
“Someone packaging this order for shipment woke up and chose violence that day,” commented one user, followed by a laughing emoji. This comment alone gained almost sixty thousand likes.
“Some poor husband out there is trying to explain why his wife received a ‘best nurse ever’ gift,” commented another user, who also gained fourteen thousand likes.
While Savannah was an amazing sport about the whole situation, let her boyfriend’s mistake be a learning experience– always check your gifts after ordering online!
