The woman also looked sickly pale and was wearing a hospital gown.
She was understandably shocked and froze in the doorway– still staring at the woman. Then, the woman apparently realized that she was staring and turned their head to look back.
And once they made eye contact, the woman just smiled at her before saying, “Hi, little girl.” Right afterward, though, the woman disappeared as if they vanished into thin air.
“I do think she was just a lost spirit– one of many that were in that hospital,” she explained– especially because she would go on to see that same woman many more times at the hospital throughout her childhood.
Still, that specific sighting has always been the most prominent ghost encounter in her memory– perhaps because it was the first time she realized that spirits roam amongst us.
Have you ever encountered a ghostly spirit? Was it friendly or totally spooky? Do you believe that spirits can be “lost?”
