She Told Her Sister Not To Have Another Baby Because Her Boyfriend Already Does Not Do Anything For The First One
This woman’s sister is twenty-nine years old and never really saw herself getting married. And, of course, there is nothing wrong with that.
But her sister did always want to have children. So, her sister decided to have a baby with her long-term boyfriend. And honestly, she believes that her sister made a terrible decision since her sister’s boyfriend does not help her at all.
Apparently, he does not work and still collects disability– even though his medical issue reportedly got resolved a long time ago. This means that he is able to help pay for some of the bills at her sister’s house, but not a lot.
On top of the financial stuff, though, her sister’s boyfriend just does not help out with his daughter– who is now one and a half years old. Instead, he just sits on the couch and plays video games all day.
“My sister works from home, so she will be on a wireless headset having a conference call with the baby on her hip while she’s cleaning the kitchen. And her boyfriend will be playing video games in the living room,” she revealed.
“That’s the situation every time I come over, and my sister tells me that’s what it’s always like.” Yikes.
And obviously, she wants to be there for her sister. However, she works full-time as a nurse, picked up a third shift, and her sister lives a whopping two hours away from her.
So, she goes over to her sister’s house to help whenever she can. But, it is just not feasible for her to be her sister’s go-to. And honestly, her sister does not understand that.
For instance, when she had a two-week-long vacation last winter, her sister actually got mad at her for not going to babysit enough. Her sister had also expressed the same frustrations several times during the workweek when she did not have time off.

“I want to help ’cause I love her and my niece. But I work a lot too, and the drive is long, and I am just tired a lot,” she vented.
Anyway, with all of this backstory, you may be thinking that her sister needs to find a new partner or have a serious sit-down with her current boyfriend, right?
Well, she did, too. And then, two weeks ago, her sister dropped a total bomb and revealed that she was going to do the exact opposite. More specifically, her sister actually said that she wanted to have another kid.
Apparently, her sister and her boyfriend are starting to try for a second child. And, if all goes well, they are hoping that the second baby will arrive by next Thanksgiving.
She was obviously completely caught off guard by the announcement, though. And honestly, she could not hold back her opinion.
“Are you sure it’s a good idea to have a second baby when your boyfriend barely helps you with the first one?” she actually blurted out. Oh boy!
If you could not have guessed it, her sister immediately got defensive and tried to claim that her boyfriend did really help out around the house. Her sister’s claims could not fool her, though.
Instead, she reminded her sister how she had seen the lack of effort with her own two eyes. But her sister refused to come to terms with it and actually just threw the blame back on her.
“Well, maybe if you helped more, then it would not seem like everything is on my shoulders,” her sister said.
This prompted some serious back-and-forth arguing before she just could not take it anymore and ended up leaving.
Unfortunately, though, the chaos was still far from over– because apparently, word of her comments also got back to her family.
So, her mother is furious at her for upsetting her sister. Plus, even her brother has jumped on the bandwagon and is calling her a jerk, too.
And now, she is just in a really awkward situation. She understands why her sister got upset, but she really does not think she spoke anything but the truth.
Regardless, though, with her whole family now turned against her, she has been left wondering if questioning her sister’s decision to have a second child was the wrong thing to do.
