“I have that, too. It’s either the voice saying my name, the voice telling me something, or it’s similar to overhearing their conversation,” one commenter revealed.
“I usually wake up the moment I hear it. Sometimes it’s a loud, terrifying noise, like a car driving really fast past my ears. Maybe we are just tired often. I don’t know if it means anything.”
However, one witch shared how the voice could be the result of someone who was close to Jessica casting a spell on her.
“The only time I have ever had experiences like this was when magic was involved. It was a result of a ‘friend’s’ careless spell casting for me,” the witch said.
“I suffered for a little while as a result until we eventually told her mom– a much more experienced witch– who cleaned up her daughter’s mess for me.”
And Jessica did share that she has a significant other to who she is obviously attached.
Still, though, some Reddit users pointed to even more possible causes– including telepathy, auditory hallucinations, and sleep paralysis.
