“Yeah, you might know him. DeMarcus Cousins?” she continued, referring to the basketball player.
Morgan’s jaw dropped because she was currently watching DeMarcus Cousins onscreen. She was shocked that the girl expected her date to believe she was just texting DeMarcus.
The guy asked her to clarify if she was talking about the basketball player and looked back and forth from her to the TV screen.
She then accused him of calling her a liar. Finally, he went to get another drink from Morgan, who had been eavesdropping on their entire conversation. He ordered a shot, but Morgan offered him two after seeing the situation he was in.
“We’re doing this together, buddy. Us three are on this date now. I want to know how this plays out,” said Morgan.
And to no one’s surprise, the date didn’t last much longer after that. This first date definitely did not lead to love.
