“Thank you, but I’m just picking up trash,” Pablo responded.
The man then told Pablo that he had never seen anyone take the time to clean up the area in the 35 years that he had lived there.
He explained that many of the rich people in the area don’t value it and leave their trash everywhere.
“People like you deserve to live in this neighborhood,” the man told Pablo. “You’ll get the recognition you deserve someday.”
After their pleasant interaction, Pablo got a notification on his phone. The man had tipped him $50 on Instacart.
