“I constantly get mad at myself for forgiving him, and now I’ve always kept the expectation that he’s cheating on me, mostly because my mindset has transformed into an ‘expect the worse so you don’t get disappointed’ type of mindset,” she revealed.
Yet, she would sometimes talk to her boyfriend or go out on dates with him and just have a gut feeling that she deserved better. She also knew that she could never tie the knot with him because she just could not marry a man who had repeatedly broken her trust in the past.
Although, just yesterday, one more lie pushed her over the edge, and she finally cut things off once and for all.
It all began while she was hanging out with her boyfriend at her place and watching Criminal Minds. Eventually, he had to use the bathroom, so he walked out of the room, and she paused the TV show.
As soon as he left, however, her boyfriend received an email detailing how his credit card had been charged for an account. At that point, she clicked on the email and saw his account, which was under a fake name but still had his email and the last four digits of his credit card.
Now, in the past, she claimed she normally would have had a big reaction– making a scene, starting to cry, pleading with her boyfriend, and asking why he would do something like that to her.
But this time, things went very differently. As soon as her boyfriend got back from the bathroom, she just handed back his phone and told him he should head home.
Obviously, he was confused and looked shocked. Her boyfriend also sensed that something was wrong and started asking her what had happened.
Still, she just said “nothing” and told him he needed to leave because it was getting late– even though it was only 2:00 p.m. Regardless, her boyfriend refused to leave until they discussed what happened.
That’s why she wound up opening her front door and motioning for him to leave. Then, once he didn’t budge, she asked, “Do you think you’re a good liar?”
Her boyfriend reportedly responded, “No,” with a “stupid look on his face.” Afterward, she just announced their relationship was over and proceeded to kick him out.
