The morning of their wedding arrived, and her husband’s family did show up to their wedding, but they all looked upset.
As soon as their ceremony was over, her husband’s family walked right out and did not end up coming to their reception.
When her husband realized that his family would not be showing up, he was absolutely crushed.
“My husband, looking out at a half-empty reception hall where his family is supposed to be, turned to me on the verge of tears and says, “I just wish they actually loved me,” she continued.
“They abandoned him. Every last member of his family was gone. And I feel responsible because they’ve never liked me, and I was the one that pushed my husband to put his foot down. I’m not sure where to go from here.”
What advice would you give her?
