According to the post, Mike and his wife were recently able to meet with a doctor in Houston, Texas, for treatment. They have been paying for hotel stays, meals, and gas out of their own pockets.
The fundraiser is meant to assist the family with these expenses as well as the medical bills. So far, they have managed to raise $51,049 out of their goal of $75,000.
