Finally, she got a proper diagnosis for what she’s been dealing with. There is actually a medical reason for what she’s been going through, and she wasn’t making it up as many medical professionals insisted.
She will be looking at having surgery soon, and she will have to take days off from her job for the procedure and recovery process.
Today, she’s been feeling so sick she couldn’t bring herself to go to work. When her 19-year-old sister realized she wasn’t at her job, she snapped that she shouldn’t be shocked if she got fired for being too lazy to make it to work.
“My sister is going to school to be a nurse, and I told her that her lack of empathy was going to be a problem in her career if she thought that I’m not at work because I’m “being lazy” as opposed to genuinely struggling with a medical issue,” she said.
“She got upset at me for calling her unempathetic and insinuating that she is going to be a bad nurse.”
“She told our mom about it, too, so now our mom is also mad at me. I don’t know if maybe I was being a little mean or not.”
