TikToker Tiffanie (@tiktoktiffanie) was raised by a serial killer who tried to kill her at least twice: it was her own father. The first time occurred when she was 10 years old.
He showed up at her mom’s workplace and started a fight. Her boss had to call the cops because he threatened to blow up the place. Tiffanie’s grandmother, who was supposed to be watching her, came running to her father’s rescue.
As she was driving him home, he told her to pull over, threw her out of the car into a ditch, and sped off without her. When he arrived at the house, he grabbed Tiffanie because her mom said that she was leaving him and made her get in the car. The car overheated, so they had to pull over to the nearest gas station.
Luckily, Tiffanie’s grandmother’s phone was still in the car. When her aunt called, she was able to answer the phone and tell her what was going on. She described what the gas station looked like, and her aunt sent her uncle to help.
“My dad tells my uncle that he’s taking me across the Mexican border, but really, he was just trying to buy time until someone could get me away from him,” Tiffanie said.
Somewhere along the way, her aunt and grandma started following them. When her dad realized they were trailing behind, he became super agitated.
He repeatedly told them that he was going to knock Tiffanie out, drag her through the woods, and put a knife to her throat. He would agree to let her go, but quickly change his mind again.
He explained to Tiffanie what his plan was to get back at her mother. He wanted to take Tiffanie across the Mexican border and use her to lure her mom there.
Once she arrived, he would chain her up so she couldn’t leave and then kill Tiffanie. He blamed Tiffanie for her mom not wanting to be with him.

“Finally, everyone convinced my dad to agree to letting me go again, but I knew he was going to change his mind, so this time, as soon as my feet hit the pavement, I took off running as fast as I could,” said Tiffanie.
Her dad tried to grab her shirt, but she ripped it off and ran down the highway barefoot, wearing nothing but her underwear. She managed to hide behind her grandmother and aunt, who threatened to shoot him in the foot.
The second time he tried to kill her was when she and her mom moved out of the house. He had beaten Tiffanie so badly in the face that she had to have surgery.
He would wait outside her school and try to follow her home.
“Again, his plan was to kill me and get my mom because it was my fault that she left him, and that actually went on for a while,” Tiffanie explained.
“I guess that could count as multiple times of him trying to kill me because he was actively doing so on a daily basis.”
