Her wedding happened, the proposal didn’t, and then she stopped hearing from her maid of honor after her wedding went by.
She talked to her very frequently, so she was surprised that her maid of honor was not replying to her, despite the fact that she reached out to her multiple times.
She also ended up finding something at her wedding that her maid of honor left behind, and although she told her maid of honor that, she still did not get an answer.
A few days ago, she sent her maid of honor another text stating that she was going to bring what her maid of honor forgot at her wedding to her maid of honor’s house and just drop it off.
After that text, her maid of honor did reply.
“Apparently, during the after-party at the hotel bar, MOH’s bf got very drunk and told her that she would’ve been engaged that night if I hadn’t ruined his plan,” she continued.
Her maid of honor did not really say she was upset with her directly, but she clearly thinks she ended up ruining her happiness, as well as her engagement.
She apologized to her maid of honor, but things got weird after that.
A friend that she and her maid of honor both share approached her to mention that she was a jerk for refusing to let her maid of honor’s boyfriend go through with proposing at her wedding.
Personally, I would not want anyone proposing during my wedding day, and I fully side with this bride.
