She Sent Her Stepbrother The Bill Expecting Him To Pay For Half Of Her Fancy Engagement Party After He Basically Made It A Gender Reveal Party
A 26-year-old woman has a 30-year-old stepbrother named Ethan who has been in her life since she was a young child.
Growing up, Ethan was always super competitive with her and always treated her like he needed to beat her to things.
For example, Ethan once broke his finger on the day she was supposed to graduate so her parents could not go to her graduation.
Another time, Ethan insisted on euthanizing her dog on her actual birthday and then tried to make everyone in their family feel bad for being excited about her birthday.
Also, Ethan decided he would get married on the same day that her mom had passed away.
After a few years went by, Ethan seemed to have grown up and moved on from his competitive nature, and he even told her that he would like her to be an aunt when he has kids.
Several days ago, she held her engagement dinner at a very high-end restaurant that cost her and her fiancè Morgan a good deal of cash.
Ethan arrived without having been invited, and he brought along his wife. She was surprised to see him there, but she was even more surprised to hear what he had to say later on in the evening.
Ethan announced to all of her guests that he and his wife were expecting a boy, so he turned her engagement dinner into a gender reveal party.

“It was completely out of the blue,” she said. “The family got excited and they ordered another round of drinks and started playing guess the name we chose game and chiming in with suggestions.”
Everyone ignored her and Morgan because they were too busy fawning over Ethan and his wife.
Morgan was absolutely furious and accused Ethan of stealing their attention and ruining their engagement dinner.
Meanwhile, she told Morgan that they should do something about it, and she suggested they ask Ethan to pay for half of their night.
“I immediately sent Ethan the bill for half of everything Morgan and I paid for with a brief explanation as to why he was expected to pay,” she continued.
Ethan then called her up and said she could not make him foot the bill for anything since he was a guest…but the thing is, she never invited him to her engagement dinner.
Things got heated from there, with Ethan claiming her stepmother was the one who invited him and he did not mean for the night to be focused all on him.
“I had a fight with him and he called my stepmom,” she explained.
“She said told me to knock it off and that it didn’t matter since my fiance is “well off” and can always have 2nd engagement dinner if it’s such deal.”
She doesn’t agree with her stepmother and thinks that Ethan still owes her for half of their engagement dinner.
She also went so far as to tell Ethan that if he has no intention of reimbursing her, she has no intention of inviting him to her upcoming wedding.
