Her Best Friend Started Touching Her, Thinking She Was Asleep, But She Wasn’t

She tried her hardest to not let him know anything was wrong, and she successfully did that until she got on the plane and got back home.

Later that day, her best friend sent her a text saying sorry “for being too handsy” and that he did not want her to feel uncomfortable.

She told him that she accepted his apology, before pointing out that she was interested in women, though she thought he still “was a great guy.”

“I really don’t think he knows that I was awake and aware throughout the whole groping thing,” she said.

“I left it at that and we’ve talked a bit since then, but I haven’t been putting any effort into the friendship recently because I still feel so betrayed over what he did that I honestly don’t think I want to continue this friendship.”

She does feel so badly that her, well, I guess we can safely say former best friend is experiencing some bad things in his life, though that’s not an excuse for what he did to her.

She’s concerned about confronting him, for fear of him doing something drastic. She’s not sure what to do or if she should eventually say something to him.

How would you handle this?
