She Started Experiencing Terrible Abdominal Pain And Then Doctors Told Her She Had Stage 4 Cancer

But without a steady income, it’s been difficult for the family to keep up with rent and other living costs—not to mention an ever-growing mountain of medical bills.

But after three rounds of chemotherapy, Jaime’s doctor had some good news; her lung nodules had reduced in size, and her surgery was finally approved and scheduled for November.

Post-surgery, Jaime still had three more rounds of chemo left to complete and CT scans to make sure the treatment was working.

“I’ve been on a roller coaster ride of emotions, & by far this is the hardest thing I’ve had to go through physically & mentally.” Jaime shared,

There have been some positive changes to remark on through her journey, though. “I realized I have so much strength in me & I believe in my heart that I will beat this & I will feel like a new person on the other side of this battle.”

Jaime posted an update on December 27th, saying she was in her fifth round of chemotherapy, listening to music, and keeping her spirits up.

Hopefully, Jaime continues to heal, and she and her mom can breathe a sigh of relief soon. You can read their story and donate here.
