He has come up with so many excuses. First, he claims he couldn’t end it with the coworker because they have too strong a connection, and he doesn’t know how to.
Then, he says because of his strong feelings for her, he feels obligated to her, so he will have to end it with “compromises.”
And that’s the gist of the story. The wife goes on to make excuses why she would allow her husband to philander in the first place.
But, unfortunately, she doesn’t realize she’s done a great job convincing herself what he’s doing is okay but showing everyone else he’s an asshole.
There’s no end in sight. “It’s been 3 months of complete hell. I’ve started seeing a therapist…I am suffering…feel sad and depressed every single day ….”
I hope this woman finally wakes up, puts on her big girl panties, and finds the strength to file for divorce.
I hope the husband ends the marriage formally and gets crabs casually. This isn’t OPP or Sister Wives, buddy. Let her go to someone that truly loves her. P.S. It’s not you!
