“When I asked him why this was happening, the two of them immediately became defensive, and I was made to look like I was the crazy one.”
“He deferred all further conversations about this happening and simply stated he thought she liked him, but she has a boyfriend.”
He tried to say that he really believed his younger friend was all over him that night in an effort to spur on her jealousy.
What upset her was that not once did this guy try to make her feel better about the situation or alleviate her worst fears.
So, on to the cruise. Day one was incredible, but then things spiraled out of control right after that.
Day two her date ended up furious with her when she stopped him from hitting on some girl he met at the resort they were staying at.
“He screamed in my face and became very vindictive and hurtful with his words,” she said. “We tried to smooth that over a few hours later, but after a night of drinking my insecurities about him and this girl surfaced.”
“I had learned that when we returned from this trip, he was immediately departing on a second trip to Fort Lauderdale with this girl.”
“I knew about the trip, but he had withheld that she was going with him. It hurt me to know that he was lying, and I unleashed all of the information I had that led me to suspect they were sleeping together.”
After she confronted him with the proof she had, he became aggressive and antagonistic, while insisting he wasn’t cheating on her.
