Other TikTokers found it ridiculous that a partner would go to these lengths in their relationship and questioned Aurie’s level of trust in her boyfriend.
“Whatever happened to trust? Or, if you have that much of an issue, just talk to him. If you cannot simply ask, then there is something wrong,” one user commented.
“If there is no trust, there is no relationship,” added another.
Some users also tore down Aurie’s misconception that men do not use car mirrors.
“I am a boy, and I use the mirrors,” one man wrote, followed by a skull emoji.
“Everyone uses the mirrors,” agreed another man.
While Aurie’s trick could potentially prove successful in catching your cheating partner, the TikTok community’s consensus is clear: trust and communication are the only ways to foster a healthy relationship.
