Mourners in the US tend to leave flowers and tokens at their loved ones’ graves but rarely do families spend an extended period of time with the dead, especially with a joyous gathering like a barbecue.
But that’s exactly what Geoff’s family did at the Manukau Memorial Gardens in New Zealand, per one of his TikTok videos.
The family had learned to laugh at ironies over time, especially others’ reactions to their unique headstone choice.
One user joked about the battery life on the iPhone; “the 99% someone get her a charger.” Another wrote, “bad situation, but love how you’re dealing with it! She would love that.”
