“John is better at communicating how he feels and treated me very kindly, and Paul didn’t seem like a man I could eventually settle down with so after a lot of thinking and talking with friends, I chose to be with John,” she said.
Well, it’s been 3 months since she picked John over Paul, and she’s happy with the choice that she made.
A week ago though, Paul came crawling back to her.
“…Last week I was told by Paul that he made a mistake, that he doesn’t like how we broke up and that he now understands that he wants to be with me forever, so he wants to properly date me and afterward, marry,” she continued.
“For me, marriage is incredibly important and I would like to settle down soon. Knowing Paul, he was not the kind of person that wanted to marry, so hearing those words from him made my heart flutter.”
“I also love John. He is caring, goes to great lengths for me, and always thinks about my feelings and necessities.”
“Although it’s too early for him to promise it, he also wants to marry. Thinking about it objectively, John is the best choice for my future, but I am worried about ignoring this strong feeling that I have now for Paul.”
“There seems to be no wrong choice here and I just don’t know what to do.”
