This College Girl Feels Like She’s Her Best Friend’s Live-In Maid

The two youngest girls have been left to clean the entire kitchen and bathroom. They even had to reach out to their landlord to notify him about the property damage the older girls had caused.

The landlord threatened to have them pay for the damages and raise their rent. While this would cause most people to reconsider their actions, cleaning up after themselves would only last a month after their discussion.

Now, things have gotten worse as both of the younger girls have developed anxiety and depression.

In return, this has led to a division between the two.

One has stopped cleaning entirely, leaving the other girl to feel alone in the house and now clean up after four people instead of three.

She has tried communicating with her friend; however, the other girl hides in her room and will call her from her bedroom instead of speaking to her directly.

While she offers to help her, things get left behind for too long, which forces the other girl to handle everything from the dishes to the garbage.

The best friend only reaches out or wants to talk when her friend is not there or with her boyfriend. The situation has been really tough on her, causing her anxiety and depression to worsen. She is now left with a decision to make.

Should she stay and try to make the best of it? Or should she move out and try to find her own apartment where she can have a clean environment but risk losing her best friend and having to pay more in rent?
