It’s kind of a waste of her time to be there in the first place when she can spend all day with her fiancé’s mom.
“Even though I do not wish to spend the day with her, I have gotten her a card and gift card to her favorite place as a way to show her some appreciation,” she said.
“My stepmother has not voiced any hurt feelings by me not wanting to spend the day with them, but my dad thinks it’s rude and disrespectful of me.”
She really has attempted to tell her dad why she doesn’t want to spend time with her stepmom on Mother’s Day and how hard the holiday is for her now that she even no longer has a mom, but her dad won’t hear it.
No matter what, her dad thinks she is rude. Do you agree?
