“I know MIL well enough to know that this was to punish me,” she said. “I told my mom that and my mom said she feels I’m too hard on MIL and she just has a big personality.”
“She asked if we could reschedule our plans, so she could go to the party. I said she is a social climber and I will not reschedule.”
She gave her mom two options; keep their own plans for Mother’s Day, or they’re never rescheduling their plans.
Her mom sobbed as she gave her her choices and claimed that she was “putting her in an impossible situation.”
