Her boyfriend isn’t ok with being late to his game at all, and he said that his dad was happy to hire a photographer to take photos of them after his game is done.
She wasn’t accepting of his suggestion, as she wanted to take her prom photos in a specific place and she was concerned that her makeup and hair wouldn’t look good after all those hours of waiting to take photos.
“I started crying harder, and he asked if I was okay, to which I said no and eventually hung up the phone,” she said.
“I never dress fancy, I’ve never worn makeup, or been on a party bus, and I haven’t eaten at a restaurant in almost two years.”
“After continuing to talk, he said that he’s going to go to the game no matter what, and he did apologize for this. I felt rude but I asked him to skip his game, and he said he wouldn’t.”
She thinks her boyfriend is being completely and utterly selfish. She doesn’t want to attend prom without him, yet she doesn’t want to stay home and throw her money away.
Her family has been overjoyed to see her all dressed up for prom, and that might not be a possibility.
She’s still so upset with her boyfriend, and she can’t understand why he didn’t pick prom over his baseball game.
