In her Part 2 video, she said that someone else could record him using the phone, or he could screen record; this would make sure that he wasn’t editing what she saw.
In Kenzie’s case, her boyfriend said he’d screen-recorded his Snapchat messages, but when she asked him to send it, he said it was taking a long time to load.
However, she eventually realized that he had never sent the screen recording because it proved he’d been cheating on her.
This technique works well in a long-distance relationship; she was in California, and he was in Iowa.
But, she explained, “I didn’t have to be there; I didn’t have to check his phone; I just caught him red-handed.”
She also had another tip for the broken-hearted; she recorded herself crying over Sutton so she won’t get back together with her ex.
For Part 3, she wasn’t sure if she would make another follow-up video but concluded that she had practical wisdom to impart. “If I can help at least one girl see the red signs, I gotta do it.”
She shared how she had used Snapchat maps to see that he wasn’t staying with his family and friend and was instead spending time at someone else’s apartment.
In Part 4 she shared that she has spoken to the girl Sutton cheated on her with, though they aren’t close.
Still, she expressed gratitude that she showed her boyfriend’s true colors. “I should freaking thank her because I really thought we were going to be married in the next year and a half.”
