She Suffered From A Seizure While Playing Volleyball On The Beach, Which Turned Out To Be Brought On By A Brain Tumor

Luckily, Haley was sent to an amazing doctor who, with newfound technology and the board’s approval, could perform the 8-hour surgery and remove the entire tumor from her brain!

Post-surgery, Haley still has a long road of recovery ahead of her. While the surgery was a success, she found that some of her motor skills were compromised.

With a few complications involving her left leg, Haley is experiencing “drop foot” and was moved to Mary Free Bed, a rehab facility where she went through intense rehabilitation.

This week, she was released and is now recovering at her home.

Amanda Cook, Haley’s sister, has set up a GoFundMe page to help her sister with hospital bills, transportation fees while Haley cannot drive, food/grocery delivery services, supporting and taking care of her son Jac, and general house expenses.

The family has a goal set of $20,000 and has already reached over $15,000!

If you choose to head on over to Haley’s GoFundMe page, you can catch a few updates on her progress along the way.
