“Euphoria” Star Sydney Sweeney Revealed Her Acting Career Is Not As Lucrative As Many People Think

Sydney detailed how five percent of every contract goes to her lawyer, while ten percent goes to her agents, and about three percent goes to her business manager.

“I also have to pay my publicist every month, and that’s more than my mortgage. If I just acted, I would not be able to afford my life in L.A. I take deals because I have to,” Sydney revealed.

The now-famous actor was not unfamiliar with financial struggles, either.

At the age of thirteen, Sydney and her family moved to Hollywood in hopes of starting her career. But, the transition was not all sunshine and rainbows.

The family of four shared a motel room– where Sydney and her mother took the bed while her father and brother shared a couch.

The substandard living arrangement also took a toll on her parents’ marriage, which Sydney hoped to eventually mend.

“I thought that if I made enough money. I would be able to buy my parents’ house back and get my parents back together. But, when I turned eighteen, I only had eight hundred dollars to my name,” Sydney recalled.

This deeper look into the star’s life has possibly made her one of the most relatable actors in Hollywood at the moment.
