It’s Official: Airbnb Has Banned Parties From Happening In Their Rentals

Due to the pandemic, a 16-person cap has been placed on most rental properties. However, with feedback from hosts who can comfortably fit 16 people or more in the home, this cap will be removed from their policy.

As stated in the Airbnb news report, 2021 concluded over 6,600 guests were suspended in an attempt to violate their temporary party ban.

New policies have been implemented to help encourage and support the community safely. The current policy includes the following: anti-party reservation prevention, holiday anti-party measures, a 24-hour safety line, a neighborhood support line, and a partnership with Vrbo where they will share information on those who are repeat “party house “offenders throughout the United States.

After this review, you may want to read the fine print before booking your next trip!
