Chelsea then joked about not being a home wrecker, to which Martha agreed. After all, most of the men she meets are actually the husbands or partners of friends.
“I have had the opportunity to be a home wrecker, but I have not taken anybody up on it. That’s really where I meet men– they are all married to friends of mine or something like that,” Martha explained.
At this point, the conversation took a hilarious turn. Chelsea described how, at Martha’s age, it might be extra tempting to “take someone up on it” because you want to believe that their relationship is temporary.
To this, Martha shockingly said, “Or maybe they’ll die. I always think, ‘Oh gosh, couldn’t that person just die?”
Chelsea was taken aback and asked, “The wife?”
“Yes! Not painfully. Just die… But it has not worked out yet,” Martha said.
Well, at least the icon is honest. And if you are friends with Martha Stewart, watch out. She might be waiting for you to kick the bucket just to steal your man.
