While they were sitting down, she informed her family that she was planning on making renovations to the house, and she laid out everything she had in mind.
Well, this did not go over well with her loved ones, who all freaked out on her for wanting to make changes, as they felt she was “destroying the memories” that they had all created right there in the home.
She doesn’t feel the same way as her family, and she reminded them that as the owner of the house, she can make changes if she chooses to do so.
She also stated to them that if they thought nothing in the house should change so as to preserve memories, then they should not have made any changes when she was little, as wouldn’t that have ruined the memories her mom created with her own family?
“They settled down after that but a couple days ago I found out that my father had called my contractor and tried to fire him stating that he was the actual owner of the house,” she said.
“When I called my father about it he told me he would have never sold to me had I mentioned that I would be changing anything.”
“I’ve since had to go no contact with most of my family because they won’t stop calling to yell at me.”
