Nonetheless, once she went on social media late that night, she realized her mom had posted photos from the garden party alongside a pretty snarky caption.
“Thank you to all who love and care about [niece] and for showing up today, and for a day free from negativity and selfishness,” the mom wrote.
So now, she is convinced that the caption was directed toward her. Moreover, it has now made her wonder if refusing to share her birthday with her niece was a selfish thing to do.
