Her Niece Compared Her Dog To Her Deceased Daughter, So She Screamed And Sent Her Niece Home

After seeing that, though, her niece got upset and asked why they could not just sleep in the “guest room.”

This really confused her, and she reminded her niece that they did not have a guest room. They just live in a two-bedroom house.

Then, her niece finally revealed that they thought her daughter’s room would have been turned into a guest room by now.

On top of that, her niece had been hoping to sleep in there.

So, she was forced to explain how challenging even just entering that room had been and how they had not gotten around to working on it yet.

Her niece was not very sympathetic to the situation, though. Instead, her niece actually had the nerve to roll their eyes and say her daughter’s passing “was a year ago” and that they “needed to move on.”

This understandably upset her, so she ended up breaking down into tears. And after seeing this, her niece apparently tried to apologize and attempted to comfort her. But, her niece’s intentions were totally misguided.

“She said she had taken the loss of her dog very hard but got over it within a year,” she recalled.

So, as a parent who lost her child, that comment only infuriated her more. In turn, she ended up screaming at her niece that losing a daughter was not the same as losing a dog.

Then, after hearing all of the commotions, her husband went into the living room and tried to mediate the situation. But, he ended up just calling an Uber for their niece and sending them home.

And since the incident, she has not spoken to her niece whatsoever. But, her sister did reach out and say that she had been totally unreasonable. In fact, her sister claimed she “made her niece feel like a monster.”
