She Kicked Her Step-Siblings Out For Being Disrespectful But Now, They Want Her To Foot Their Hotel Room Bill

Apparently, Fran was super intoxicated and began making more inappropriate comments to the guests– which made everyone feel super awkward.

“Then, one of our friends was telling a story about how he did something funny that incurred a fine. Fran got upset and said how the fine he had paid was more than most people make in a year, and he should be ashamed to be happy to throw that much money around,” she recalled. Yikes!

Fran also went on to say everyone who lived in her city was ungrateful and wasteful. How uncomfortable.

So, in an effort to cut the tension, she decided to make a kind of pointed joke.

“I responded that next time, Fran should take herself camping because I didn’t spend the money to fly her out here, treat her to dinners and parties and yachts for her to be so sad,” she said.

And thankfully, everyone laughed, moved on, and had a great rest of their night.

The following morning, though, she was still utterly pissed off and confronted Mark and Fran about their behavior. She said they humiliated her and that she does not want to house people on her property who are downright disrespectful and embarrassing.

Then, she told the couple that while their flights were still taken care of and they were still welcome to attend the anniversary party, they could no longer sleep at her apartment.

And she admits that if Fran had shown even just a bit of remorse, she probably would have taken her statement back and allowed both Mark and Fran to stay at her place. But, Fran apparently just “doubled down” before storming out to stay in a hotel.

Everything cooled down for a bit after that. Her parents’ wedding anniversary party went off without a hitch, and all of her step-siblings eventually traveled back to their homes.

Afterward, though, she received an unexpected bill from Fran for the cost of her hotel stay– because apparently, Fran claimed that since she kicked them off her yacht, she should have to cover their room.
