“So, I thought it over and decided to. Elise was very happy and cried a lot.”
Anyway, Elise has since moved into their new house last week and invited her entire family over to see the new home and celebrate. But, once Belle arrived, she was totally shocked.
Apparently, Elise’s new house is quite large and located in an affluent area. In turn, Belle had no idea how Elise got the house and straight up asked how she was able to afford it.
Then, Elise mentioned that she and her husband had given them half the money– which seemingly struck a serious chord with Belle.
In fact, Belle did not even speak to her for the rest of the family party.
Plus, the next day, she got a call from Belle, and Belle practically exploded on her. She got accused of acting out of favoritism by giving Elise the money for her home and treating Belle totally unfairly.
“So I tried to explain that it was the college money that Elise had already received, but Belle said that they had to take out loans despite our contribution; meanwhile, Elise would not have to worry about any house loans,” she said.
Then, before she could even finish speaking, Belle apparently hung up on her and blocked her. Yikes.
On top of that, Belle must have told her aunt– because now her family is also berating her for treating Belle inequally.
Anywho, her husband believes that Belle is just acting entitled and that the entire situation will blow over in time.
However, Belle’s comments have made her feel pretty bad as a mother.
