“I also said that my dad had a fair amount of savings and could probably buy them a house– especially if they sold the apartment and used it for a down payment,” she explained.
If you could not have guessed it, though, this did not go over well. In fact, she is now being accused of making her father dip into his retirement fund and leaving him high and dry in his older age.
On top of that, her father’s fiancée is refusing to sell their apartment since the real estate market is swinging up, and they want to build equity.
Regardless of their feelings, though, she made it clear that they needed to find a new place to live and move out before the baby was born.
Still, even though she thinks that is a very fair outcome, she has been left wondering if forcing her dad and future stepmother to find a new place was a jerky thing to do.
