“We feel like it [plastic surgery] is a lot of unnecessary pain, and I am already happy how I am,” Annah said, “When I was younger, I used to not think I was that pretty. But now, when I look in the mirror, I do think I am beautiful.”
“And I don’t need to change. Like, I wouldn’t be changing it for myself,” Ella added.
Back in June of 2021, the seventeen-year-old sisters also decided to share their stories with the world by creating their first-ever public Instagram account known as @Twinspirationz.
Before last year, Annah recalled how putting herself out there online was frightening.
“I had never had a public social media account because I was nervous. I was still scared to put myself into the public that I would get more bullying because it’s online and people hide behind screens,” Annah explained.
But, eventually, the girls decided that their mission of spreading self-love and acceptance was more important than what anyone could ever say in a comment section.
“I want to help people when they look in the mirror feel pretty and feel beautiful,” Ella said.
And since launching their account, the twins have done just that. Ella and Annah have shared their experiences, interests, and future dreams with the world, all while inspiring young adults to love the skin they’re in.
And when asked by an Instagram follower how girls can best see their inner beauty, the twins posted a wonderful response.
“We think inner beauty is about kindness, acceptance of others and self, and showing one’s unique personality.”
“We hope that everyone can begin recognizing and cultivating their own inner beauty by focusing on their own contributions to their friends, family, and the world. Everyone has strengths to share.”
