“It is not super common knowledge because our stuff never aired. But we filmed for a few days in North Carolina, and after that incident, we decided we were no longer going to continue to film,” Kara continued.
Apparently, the show’s producers were “forceful” and intrusive. They tried to film while Kara was in the hospital and allegedly also wanted Kara to recreate a military homecoming.
“If you know anything about those, there was no recreating one. Reality TV shows…are not reality,” she added.
There is a lot of planning that goes on behind the scenes, and Kara just wanted people to know that they cannot believe everything they really see on screen.
“Thank you for shining light on how this stuff works, and I am so sorry you went through this,” commented one user.
“I was horrified to read the other comment section. I felt like I needed to put this out there,” Kara responded to the comment.
