The stress of her boss being mad at her, combined with forgetting her suitcase, caught up with her. She was upset and called her mom to explain what had happened. Immediately, her mom told her she needed to stand up to her boss because what he did was wrong.

After talking to her mom, Madison texted her boss that if he needed to fire her, she would understand.

But after three hours, she still didn’t receive a response. So then she changed her tune and texted him that she was actually quitting instead.
