She’s Sharing Her Summer 2023 Bucket List, And It’s Full Of Accessible, Fun, And Realistic Ideas For Things To Get Done Before The Summer Passes Us By

Summertime is officially in full swing! It feels as though June has flown by, and unfortunately, many of us haven’t switched into summer mode or gotten any fun summertime activities done.
Luckily, TikTok creator Evelyn (@myinternetcousin) has shared her Summer 2023 Bucket List with her viewers, which has accessible, fun, and realistic ideas for things to get done before this year’s summer passes us by.
The first item on Evelyn’s summer bucket list? Wear an anklet. Did you ever think you would hear the word “anklet” after 2009?
“We’re wearing anklets, okay?” Evelyn tells her viewers.
“I don’t wanna hear it. There is an anklet out there for every aesthetic.”
Evelyn’s next bucket list item is great for those who love attending an outdoor sports game during the summer.
Evelyn says to cosplay as a super fan at a random sporting event. If a local baseball game is happening in your area, paint your face the colors of the home team and get really passionate about that game, even if you don’t know what’s happening.
If you’re going out to any bars, clubs, or parties this summer, Evelyn put on her bucket list that you need to “dance at 100%.”
Evelyn encourages us to dance so hard on whatever dance floors we find ourselves on this summer to the point where we can’t hold a beverage in our hands.

This next item on Evelyn’s summer bucket list is great for those who like to host gatherings during the summer.
“We’re making dip,” says Evelyn.
“A lot of y’all are stressing yourselves out, okay? Trying to put puff pastry on everything, you wanna do a whole dinner party. Just be the dip guy. Everybody loves dip.”
Evelyn also encourages her viewers to get crafty and DIY some summer accessories. For instance, you can crochet your own bucket hat or tie-dye a teeshirt!
If you have a summer reading list that you haven’t started, you’re not alone. One of the ways you can make a dent in that list is by making reading an “event,” as Evelyn says.
Instead of trying to remind yourself to read before bed or while on public transportation, make an afternoon, evening, or morning out of it.
Find a nice location, like a cool park, to read in, pack a beverage of your choice, and read. Make it an event for your day.
In a follow-up video made by Evelyn, she explores the second half of her list, which includes changing your appearance in some way, switching up your favorite signature cold sweet treat of the summer, and getting creative with the go-to beverage you carry around in your summer water bottle.
Finally, one of the most wholesome items on Evelyn’s bucket list is to learn or re-learn one childhood activity.
According to Evelyn, this means “something that you either used to do as a child that you don’t anymore or something that typically is ascribed to children or childhood that you’ve just never done.”
For example, Evelyn says she always wanted to learn how to do Double Dutch jump roping, so this summer, she wants to teach herself how to do it. You can also draw with sidewalk chalk, skip around, roller skate, etc.
Those are the major highlights from Evelyn’s official Summer 2023 Bucket List. TikTok viewers are already getting started on checking off some of the items, and there’s a lot of excitement over it.
“So we’re getting our personalities back this summer,” commented one user.
Will you check off any of Evelyn’s items this summer?
